Exam questions

Each exam will contain a mixture of different types of questions.  Below are the general instructions for the most common types of questions that could be asked on an exam.

QUICK IDENTIFICATION.   In response to the word or phrase given, answer the questions carefully in the spaces provided.

SINGLE CHOICE.  Circle the letter of the best single answer from the choices given.

MULTIPLE CHOICE.  Circle all answers that are correct--anywhere from 0 to all 5.

JEOPARDY!  The category is "Populations and Conservation".  In response to each answer given, fill in the blank to complete the question that is answered.

True or false?   If false, circle the letter F and correct the statement by adding to, changing, or deleting one or more of the underlined words.  Do not add to, change, or delete words in other sections.   If true, circle the letter T but leave the statement unchanged.

FALSE STATEMENT.  Propose why the underlined part of each of the following statements is false.  To get credit, your answer must provide an explanation or an example and cannot just contradict the statement.

SHORT ANSWERS.  Answer clearly but concisely in the spaces provided.

PROBLEMS.  Answer the following quantitative questions.  You may use the extra sheet at the end if you run out of space.  To get full credit, show all of your work and not just the final answer.
