Lecture Schedule

Lectures will make reference to assigned readings but will not simply repeat them. You will get more from lecture if you do the reading before and review it after. Exam questions will be drawn from both lectures and readings.

Lecture handouts are pdf copies of the powerpoint slides used in class.  You may download and print them before each set of lectures (username is "biol211", pwd is on your syllabus).  These handouts will be useful to some students as an aid to taking notes but will not be an adequate substitute for attending lecture.
