Lecture Schedule
Lectures will make reference to assigned readings, but will not simply repeat what you have read. You will get more out of lecture if you do the reading before lecture, and will reinforce the lecture material if you do it again afterward. DQs (see below) for any articles will be due by the start of discussion. Exam questions will be drawn from both lectures and readings.
Lecture handouts are pdf copies of the powerpoint slides used in class. You may download and print them before each set of lectures (username is "biol211", pwd is on your syllabus). These handouts will be useful to some students as an aid to taking notes but will not be an adequate substitute for attending lecture.
